Kreating Saturdays help children with and without disabilities discover their interests by offering a variety of activities that help them explore their creativity through a wide range of topics and activities from cooking, gardening, painting, woodwork and more! We believe that every child, no matter their diagnosis, deserves equal opportunities to discover, learn, and create their own identity. This months theme:Kreating Confidence- Discover the boost to self-confidence that comes with bringing your own wearable ideas to life!Activities: Learn to heat press, and use a surprise design media. Develop and learn some new and exciting design techniques.Learn social and daily life skills.Engage in physical play with peers. Get messy and have some fun!Objectives: Sensory Stimulation. Encourage creative thinking. Leave the session with a tangible end product such as a T-shirt printed with their own design. Work with and get feedback on ideas from a design professional.
