Nope! 'Kraken' functions just as well as a stand-alone pirate adventure, but if you've seen 'Sirens' it has more easter eggs than you can shake a stick at.

Live theatre usually features full sets, costumes, choreography, and props, and is performed on a large stage. A table read is far more intimate, with the actors sitting at the front of the room to read the script, sometimes playing multiple characters. But our table reads have a little extra.
