An introduction to brewing kombucha at home, covering SCOBYs, fermentation vessels, tea ratios, and bottling. Avery Ashley, FCS Agent with Brunswick County Cooperative Extension and SafePlates Distinguished Educator in Food Preservation, will walk through the process from start to finish. Includes a hands-on activity. and all participants will leave with their own kombucha starter cultures.
