SOS Continuing Education provides educational programming to enhance the knowledge and skills of clinicians in the sports medicine field in order to better serve the communities in which we practice. The Knowledge on Tap Lecture Series is an opportunity to hear from various medical professionals from throughout Central New York and earn valuable CEUs/CMEs in a casual setting. Come join us to pour in some knowledge and meet other medical professionals in the CNY area.

Andrew Green, PT, DPT, ATC graduated from SUNY Cortland with a BS in Athletic Training. In 2013 he received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Utica College. As an Athletic Trainer he has had clinical experiences with colleges, high schools, and an AHL hockey team. He has been a part of the SOS Sports Therapy team since 2015.
Chris Hall, PT, DPT received his BS and DPT from Nazareth College. He is an APTA certified instructor and also SASTM certified. He has been a part of the SOS Sports Therapy team since 2015.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify differences between release from PT and clearance for return to sport.
- Identify injuries and conditions where this gap is especially large.
- Create protocols to safely bridge this gap.
Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists is recognized by the Board of Certification, Inc. to offer continuing education for Certified Athletic Trainers. BOC Approved Provider Number: P10096. This program is targeted towards Athletic Trainers and other sports medicine clinicians. ATs are eligible for 1 Category A CEU.
Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists is accredited by The Medical Society of the State of New York to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists designates this live program for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

**There has been no commercial support for this activity. Registrants wishing to receive reimbursement for events that charge a fee must do so in writing (email responses are acceptable). Requests received up to 72 hours prior to the start of the event will be given a full refund. In the event of an emergency, health or travel-related reason for needing to cancel after the 72 hour deadline, a written request for refund must be received within 24 hours of the conclusion of the event. Special circumstantial cancellations will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and up to a 75% refund may be issued.**
