Knotts "On the Road" 2024 Robotic Tour in North Jersey

Description: Join us for an exciting day filled with cutting-edge robotics at the County College of Morris! This in-person event will showcase the latest advancements in robotics and technology. Get ready to witness amazing automation demonstrations, participate in hands-on activities, and learn from industry experts. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to experience the future of robotics up close. And stay for LUNCH!

This expo gathers 6 various solutions in ONE!

  • Human Motion Mimicking Automation (Nordbo Robotics) - Experience cutting-edge software that replicates human wrist and arm movements with precision. When integrated with a Universal Robot collaborative robot, this technology enables operators to effortlessly program the robot by mimicking human arm movements, resulting in faster programming.
  • Automated Palletizing Solution (RocketFarm) - Introducing a palletizing software designed to pallet and configure all types of shipping material, such as corrugated boxes, bags, and plastic pails. This user-friendly solution is easy to program and efficiently manages diverse packaging requirements.
  • Workplace Safety Powersuits (German Bionic) - Attendees will be able to try on the Apogee Exoskeleton powersuit and perform tasks that would normally be somewhat strenuous. It provides active support for lifting, lowering, prolonged bending, and walking.
  • CNC/Machine Tending Automation (Universal Robots) - A collaborative robot arm will tend a Haas Lathe. It will load and unload parts and simulate a machining cycle. The collaborative robot will unload the "finished" parts onto an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) for transport to the next production stage on the factory floor. (See more below.)
  • Material Transportation Automation with Automated Mobile Robots (MiR / ROEQ) - Once fully load, the AMR will bring the machined parts to a different area to simulate material being restocked. Then, the AMR will bring the cart of "new material" back to the robot arm. The collaborative robot arm will pick the parts off the AMR and load them into the CNC machine for tending process.
  • Autonomous Mobile Robot Pallet Jack (MiR) - A virtual reality demo with AMR technology will give you a firsthand experience of the MiR 1200 Pallet Jack size and intelligent features in a real-life environment.
