At Community Kitchen Pittsburgh,we use food as the foundation to change lives and strengthen communities.Our events give our students the opportunity to gain valuable work experience while the proceeds from each event goes back into our programs to provide free culinary training to individuals who are trying to better their lives and their community through the food industry, provide hunger relief across the city of Pittsburgh, and more.When you attend a CKPgh event, "your dollars make change."

Join Ben of Unified Fields, Community Kitchen Pittsburgh's butcher, for a hands-on workshop designed to build confidence and skill in the kitchen.Participants will learn:<ol><li>Knife sharpening techniques</li><li>Edge maintenance and upkeep</li><li>Keeping knives sharp between sharpenings</li><li>Knife care and maintenance</li><li>Maintaining a sharp cutting edge</li><li>Proper use of sharpening and maintenance tools</li></ol> 👥 Limited to 12 participants🔪 Bring your favorite kitchen knifeWhether you're a home cook or looking to build your culinary skills, you'll leave with practical knowledge you can put to use right away.
