The International Museum of Surgical Science, a division of the International College of Surgeons (ICS), maintains over 10,000 square feet of public galleries committed to the history of surgery, and an exquisite permanent collection of art and artifacts from the history of Medicine. The Museum supports its Mission through medically thematized exhibitions and programs, in addition to a strong contemporary art exhibition program.is to enrich people’s lives by enhancing their appreciation and understanding of the history, development, and advances in surgery and related subjects in health and medicine.

Experience an evening of fine Japanese cuisine, spirits, and artistic performances and activations with full access to the historic museum and its charm. Enjoy a special viewing of the new Kintsugi exhibition and explore the art of Kintsugi, or ‘gold repair’, through the work of Japanese Arts Foundation resident artist Mami Takahashi, who fuses human skulls with gold, bringing to life the philosophy of celebrating the beauty of broken cracks. This fundraising gala directly supports the efforts of the Japanese Arts Foundation and the International Museum of Surgical Science.
