An apron, a small stack of newspaper, protection glasses and a small hammer. These last two things, you can get them at Home Depot

What is included in the price?

The workshop fee includes all materials for the class, a five inch bowl as well as guided instruction throughout the entire session.

Is any previous experience required?

No previous experience is required. This workshop is designed for beginners and anyone interested in exploring the art of  Kintsugi.

What will I learn in this workshop?

You will learn the basic technique to repair and transform broken pieces, based in the Wabi Sabi philosophy.

What type of materials will we use?

Accepted Answer

All materials are provided. We use alternative materials inspired by the traditional Kintsugi process, allowing participants to safety create their own piece.

How long is the workshop?

The workshop lasts approximately two hours and thirty minutes.

Can I bring my own broken piece?

Accepted Answer

All materials needed for the workshop will be provided. However you can bring your piece for Claudia to evaluate with you and determine whether this technique is suitable for the material.

Will I take my finished piece?

Yes, you will take home your repaired piece as a reminder of the beauty found in imperfection.
