Kinship Caregiver Drop Off Respite + Training Event
Welcome to our FREE Kinship Caregiver Drop Off Respite + Training Event hosted by Say Yes to FAMILY and Bethany Christian Services. This is a fantastic opportunity for kinship caregivers to take a break while their loved ones are cared for in a safe environment. Kids, ages 3 and up, will have fun participating in summer games, crafts, and activities, complete with a bounce house! At the same time, caregivers will attend a valuable training session to enhance their skills and knowledge on the importance of healthy snacks + foods for the kids in their home. Kids Food Basket will be presenting this training, as well as joining in on the fun at the Respite Event! After the training, feel free to walk through our Resource Fair. We will have organinzations from all over the area, come together to share how they can support you on this journey of caring for children in your home! Join us for a day of relaxation, learning, and support! We are better TOGETHER!
This event is open to ALL Kinship Caregivers and their families in West Michigan.
When registering please make sure to tell us the ages of the kids that will be attending the Drop Off Respite Event. **Children need to be potty trained or wearing pull ups with success.
