Overview

This conference is designed for film industry professionals, focusing on the role AI already plays in contemporary cinema.

This inaugural full-day conference explores how artificial intelligence is reshaping the film industry from creative practice to audience experience.

In Design & AI: Visual Storytelling, artists Andrzej Klimowski, James Dawe, and Tomasz Opasiński explore how AI is transforming visual storytelling, the design process itself, and film marketing across digital platforms.

Dr. Georgia Thomas-Parr leads Audiences, Cinema & Ethics in the Age of AI, joined by film and AI producers Jacek Nagłowski and Simon David Miller. Together, they will consider shifting viewer behaviours, questions of authorship, and the structural changes AI is bringing to contemporary film and media production and distribution.

AI as Creative Engine: Sound, Image & Film brings together producer Sebastian Strakowicz, James Bowthorpe, and AI directors Sijin Liu and Ruby Nian to discuss sonic world-building, visual AI tools, and new approaches to storytelling and promotion.
