New York-based comedian Brittany Carney (Adult Swim, That Damn Michael Che, Vulture's Comedian You Should and Will Know) is bringing her solo show, Kingdom Phylum Ass, to LA's Lyric Hyperion. Kingdom Phylum Ass gets scientific and historical--Brittany combines stand-up, storytelling, and projected media to make sense of taxonomy, natural history, the history of natural history, beavers, Old White Men. ADHD, and assorted animal droppings.

Kingdom Phylum Ass is a structured fumble through order, and lack thereof. If you like science, the history of science, personal discovery, or just weird animal shi*t (figurative and literal), come through.
