King Tide Tidepooling Excursion

Come join us for an exciting adventure at Mondo's Beach led by Ventura Wild educator Amy Davis and VLT Executive Director Melissa Baffa!

About This Event:

Explore the wonders of the tidepools during the King tide. Discover fascinating creatures and unique marine life in their natural habitat. Participants are likely to see a variety of sea creatures, including vibrant anemones, hermit crabs, sea stars, and even octopus if we get lucky!

• Please dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes that can get wet (not flip-flops!)
• Kiddos tend to get pretty wet, so parents might consider bringing a towel and extra change of clothes for their little ones
• Severe weather will force cancellation—organizers will watch the weather and surf, and keep participants updated if we need to cancel
