Join the <a href="https://www.bostonharbornow.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Boston Harbor Now</a> team and some of our neighborhood partners for a live broadcast from the Boston waterfront during the November King Tide! With coastal tide anticipated to reach over 12ft across the inner Boston Harbor, we&#x27;ll be taking you live to explore several locations along Boston&#x27;s waterfront and witness the impacts of coastal flooding.You&#x27;ll also hear local perspectives in East Boston from Magdalena Ayed, Founder &amp; Executive Director of <a href="https://www.harborkeepers.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Harborkeepers</a>, Laura Yates, Biological Technician of <a href="https://www.nps.gov/bost/learn/national-parks-of-boston.htm" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">National Parks of Boston</a> and Prof. Robert Chen, Interim Dean, <a href="https://environment.umb.edu/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">School for the Environment, University of Massachusetts Boston</a>. Boston Harbor Now staff will be reporting from Fort Point Channel. While King Tides are regularly occurring natural tidal phenomenons resulting from the gravitational pull of the relative position of the Earth and its moon, they do offer a unique glimpse into the future of sea level rise around our vulnerable coastal areas.
