Join us for a thrilling adventure filled with drama and suspense at this screening of the 1933 version of King Kong!

The 1933 version of King Kong is a nostalgic masterpiece. Live action sequences blended with stop motion animation made this film pioneering for it's time. A documentary crew ventures to an exotic island where they encounter the mysterious entity known as Kong. The crew manages to bring Kong back to New York, where he is exploited as the eighth wonder of the world. Mayhem ensues when Kong breaks loose and takes femme fatale, Ann (Fay Wray) hostage and climbs to the top of the Empire State Building.

Attendees will receive free popcorn with their ticket admission.

Can I Bring Outside Food?

Yes! You are welcome to bring whatever you like! In 2024 during our fall haunted movies, we had people bring in pizzas, birthday cake, snacks and pretty much anything you can think of!

What If It Rains?

A determination about the weather will be made the morning of the event. If the weather does not cooperate, the event will be moved to a rain date on the following day, Saturday, June 19th from 8:30-11pm. In the event of inclement weather on both dates, a full refund will be given.

Should I Bring Bug Spray?

Probably, yes. Our forested campus is nearly 600 acres in size and we have to share this land with the creatures that live here, even the nefarious ones (like mosquitoes).

Are You Showing Other Movies Besides This Film?

Yes! Our "Summer Cinema Under the Stars" event will showcase three films in June, July and August. Beginning in October, the return of our "Freaky Film Fridays" series comes back with screenings throughout the month of October. Follow our social media pages to stay up to date on these events!

Do You Provide Chairs?

No. Please bring your own chair, blanket or magic carpet.
