Come join us for a 3 part summer series. First gathering, join us for an hour of movement and flow at Pennypack Park! Let's get together to celebrate with our bodies and minds through slow movement & intentional breath. This event is all about connecting with yourself and nature. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a total newbie, everyone is welcome to join in on the fun. So grab your yoga mat, water, an open heart, and let's KillTheDay together!
Why Outdoors?
Trees absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen, making for perfect natural air purifiers with additional healing properties. Studies have shown that spending time in nature benefits the body, lowering cortisol levels, the hormone responsible for stress. This stress reduction not only improves physical & mental health but also enhances overall productivity and performance in our every day lives.
Why slow, low impact exercise?
Through slow movement you can learn to connect with your body and your breath. Slowing down allows you to focus on mind-body having long lasting effects on your mental and physical health.
