About this event

This series of classes takes place in the home art studio of Alyssa Whetstone, a licensed Elementary Art teacher who teaches in the Lakeville Area School district during the school year.

Give your creative kid an outlet to learn new drawing and painting techniques. Each day students will complete art exercises and a finished painting by learning new skills and techniques.

Alyssa Whetstone's home studio is located in Farmington but the exact address will be emailed out the week before the class. For your planning purposes, the studio is located in the neighborhood around Troy Hills Park.

This class is recommended for students 7-15 in age. If you have a younger or older artist interested, please reach out to discuss by emailing info@alyssawhetstoneart.com.

Price includes all art supplies needed to complete the projects.

Yes! When you choose the All Three Days you get a discounted rate compared to purchasing each day individually. No matter which date you select when you purchase the All Three Days ticket, you are signed up for all three days.

What ages is this class for?

This kids' watercolor class is best for ages 7 and up.

What will students make?

We will draw and paint based a different theme each day. See the photo in the event details for an example. Students will have opportunities to personalize each project while learning important techniques and improving their skills.
