Kids' Pick Awards - 2024
Welcome to the ultimate celebration for our local kid-friendly businesses! The first annual Kids' Pick Awards - 2024 is a celebratory event that we are offering in partnership with Ketcha Outdoors where we will recognize kid-friendly businesses & organizations that our kids truly love across 40 kid-focused categories. If you share any connection with kid-friendly businesses in our area, whether you represent one or like us, you just like supporting them, we hope you can join us on the evening of May 18th at Ketcha Outdoors in Scarborough!
This event will also support the incredible efforts of The Locker Project.
Their Mission: The Locker Project connects food-insecure children in Maine with nourishing food to improve their learning capacity, health, and future. They take a whole-family approach to child hunger with programs that strive to be low barrier, stigma-free, and environmentally responsible.
We are asking attendees to consider matching thier ticket price with a $25 donation to the locker project. We will collect these optional donations at check-in (cash or check made payable to Locker Project). Alternatively, you can donate on their website at anytime.
Additionally, any raffle tickets purchased (beyond the 1 complimentary raffle ticket that you will get at check in) will go to the Locker Project.
Come a little hungry because we will have pizza and other snacks for your enjoyment, complimentary!

Casual! Come and celebrate however you feel most comfortable.
As much as we love the kiddos, this is an adult-only event. The reason for this is that we wanted to pick a time with the most potential for category finalists to attend and kid-friendly hours are also business hours for most of these businesses!
We will have appetizers/snacks from Charcutemarie and Pizza from Brickyard Hollow. We will also have a cash bar (cash or credit) at the event!
Due to food orders, we cannot offer a refund. If you have extenuating circumstances, please feel free to reach out so we can connect.
We will have a raffle in support of the Locker Project. Each event ticket will include 1 complimentary raffle ticket, and 100% of any additional raffle tickets purchased will go towards the cause. We will have so many great raffles from local businesses!

No! The focus will be on recognizing and celebrating ALL of the local kid-friendly businesses and any adult is welcome and encouraged to attend. If you are connected to local kid-friendly businesses in any way what-so-ever, we'd love for you to join us. Yes to YOU local parents. Just come!
