About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

Join Miss Beth to explore our garden! We’ll hand-pick seasonal herbs and veggies such as summer squash, basil, and thyme and use them to decorate our homemade focaccia dough. While the focaccia is baking in the oven, we’ll learn how to make delicious herb-infused dipping oils to accompany our creations. We’ll finish class by tasting our masterpieces!

This class is geared towards children ages 7 and up. We ask that caregivers stay on site for the duration of the program. While you wait, we invite you to take some time to explore the grounds, grab food or a coffee, or even enjoy an end-of-day cocktail at the Farm Stand!

Space is limited, please register in advance!

About the instructor: Beth Verblaauw was a local preschool teacher for sixteen years. She is a children's librarian and children's program developer, a mom of 4, and loves finding beauty and adventure in the outdoors.
