Kids Cookie Baking

Karen Hillman is a mixed media artist and award-winning photographer. She describes her work as “Vintage Finery” as her art pieces encompass using forgotten items from eras of the past, and reinventing them into extraordinary treasures. Her style is romantic and ethereal and some of her favorite works are her angels, fairies, and one-of-a-kind religious pieces. Karen’s art studio is located within her charming storybook home located in Frederick, Maryland. Fondly called, “The Cozy Castle”,  she hosts her unique classes and retreats at The Cozy Castle, around the country and abroad.

This is one of many baking/cooking classes to be offered in Karen's Cozy Castle Kitchen. And now it's cookie time for kids at The Cozy Castle! In this hands-on class, we will be preparing three types of fun cookies! Cinnamon sugar cutouts, the best chocolate chip cookies, and decorative ice cream cone cookies. We will enjoy cookies and milk along with a healthy snack, and everyone will go home with cookies! Ages 5-12. Parental attendance is not necessary but is welcome, just please let me know ahead of time.
Min of 6 are needed to hold this class; maximum is 12. Must register on or before September 21st.
