About this event

  • 2 hours 30 minutes

Join Owl Eyes Wilderness Survival in this program for homeschool kids! There is no age minimum or maximum (this is not an adult class, but parents are welcome to join in for free), but students must be able to hold a knife and carve. Usually 7 and up is best. Students will learn various techniques and skills in bushcraft. Skills will vary between building shelters, carving spoons, bowls, or wooden cups, rabbit sticks, fishing handlines, fishing nets, cordage from plants, fish spears, or any other cool bush craft! Every student will go home with what they worked on (and hopefully finished in class). Students will learn knife safety, sharpening, carving techniques, saw usage, axe skills, and much more depending on the topic.

Recommended gear for class:

This is not a drop off event and parents are required to stay for the duration of this program. Parent participation is not mandatory but their attendance is.
