For this Keyframes &amp; Kegs, we’re exploring the ways that we’re Better Together! Sometimes, the creative production process calls for us to do it alone. But other times, it calls for us to assemble a crew of collaborators to get the job done. And putting together the perfect team is a great way to fight against tough timelines, fleeting inspiration and barely-there budgets. Not to mention learning more about the craft from those we get to partner with. Demo Duck is inviting video and motion-based creators to share professional or personal projects that represent a collaboration outside their normal workflow. Maybe you partnered with a favorite artist, band, brand, or local business (the list goes on!) to create something wonderful. Or, maybe you worked with a creative or production company outside your typical specialty to bring a project to life. A group of creatives, or creative teams, will be selected to present a behind-the-scenes look at their Better Together collaboration. We’ll hear how they linked up, managed their time, what they learned from each other and more. A reminder that this event is at the Revolution Brewing Brewery &amp; Taproom on 3340 N. Kedzie Ave - not the restaurant/bar on Milwaukee Ave. We’ll have signage and helpful Ducks guiding you to our semi-private event space. K﻿indly register by Friday, August 4th.Want to present? Keyframes &amp; Kegs is an opportunity for Chicago video and motion-based creatives to network, share their work and commiserate over a couple adult beverages. Questions or comments? Shoot a note to Marissa@DemoDuck.com -﻿-Event Schedule 6:00pm - Registration &amp; Mingling Check in, grab a drink and some snacks, and chat with other Chicago video and motion creatives. 6:30pm - Hello from Demo Duck A quick hello from the event organizers. We haven’t seen you all in a while! We’ll share one of our own recent collaborative projects. 6:45pm - Project Presentations Our participating presenters will share their projects, along with stories of teamwork with their collaborators, how working together influenced their creative and production process, and more. 7:30pm - Stay Awhile! Grab a drink, more food and chat with other attendees. After all, things are Better Together! 9pm - Time to GoTill next time. The entire Revolution Brewing space closes at 9pm on Thursdays.
