Key West Pollinator Census Count!

Join us as we learn and grow as a community!

The Great Florida Pollinator Census is a fantastic way to participate in scientific research and deepen your connection to our local ecology.

Learn to identify major pollinators, get tips on planting a pollinator garden, and contribute as a citizen scientist to this regional study!

Co-Presented by UF/IFAS Monroe County Extension and the Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden.

This free community event includes a presentation about pollinators and time in the garden to conduct your own pollinator count.

Presentations will take place every hour, starting at 10 am.

In addition to conducting pollinator counts, participants are encouraged to explore the gardens and participate in pollinator-themed crafts.

Bring the family! A story -time option will be available for kids.

As this event will be held outdoors, it is recommended that participants bring a cold drink and a hat!
