Some gays are born pole dancing around an umbilical cord sliding down a rainbow, while NYC standup comedian Keenan Steiner badly did not want to come out even into his mid-20s, let alone admit his sexuality to himself. In his authentic voice and off-the-cuff style, Keenan leads you through why it took him so long to come out of the closet, and what convinced him to get out, with unexpected jokes and even an ounce of poignancy along the way.

SNEAKY, got its start at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and much like Keenan’s humor, it took an unexpected turn to Mexico, where it played in cities across the country. It picked up some flavor and stories from across the border and has now been playing across venues throughout New York City.

Keenan Steiner is a comedian known for his nothing-is-off-limits material, authenticity, and loose vibe. Coming up in New York and then bringing his comedy to Mexico for three years before returning to NYC, in the past and the future he’s performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, New York Comedy Festival, Red Clay Comedy Festival, and many others. He’s told jokes on HQ Trivia, SiriusXM and in TIME. From 2021 to 2023, he went wild in Mexico where he launched his first English standup hour, and soon started doing standup in Spanish, which is not his native tongue. Overall, he's put on his standup hour, Sneaky, and a different hour in Spanish, dozens of times across cities in Mexico and in New York.
