This intro to kayaking class is open to people 16 years and older who can swim and are new to kayaking. Equipment provided. Space limited to less than 8 participants. Please bring water, sunscreen, bug repellent, and a change of clothes or a towel.
We will not make you tip over or do a rescue from the water (this is not that kind of class), but splashing from paddling may get you wet. This class doesn't include a certification of any kind. It will just help you get familiar with the fascinating sport of kayaking.
$22 per person. Kayaks, PFDs and paddles provided. Program fee doesn't include $5 parking fee or Eventbrite fees.
Directions to the location will be given after you register. Please arrive 20 min early as we will not wait for tardy attendees.
Cancelations can be made up to 1 day before the program date for a $22 refund. Cancelations made the same day are not refundable.
