Kayaking 101

This intro to kayaking class is open to people 8 years and older who can swim and are new to kayaking. Any minor needs to be accompanied by an adult at all times. Equipment provided. Space limited to less than 8 participants. Please bring water, sunscreen, bug repellent, and a change of clothes or a towel.

We will not make you tip over or do a rescue from the water (this is not that kind of class), but splashing from paddling may get you wet. This class doesn't include a certification of any kind. It will just help you get familiar with the fascinating sport of kayaking.

$22 per person. Kayaks, PFDs and paddles provided. Program fee doesn't include $5 parking fee or Eventbrite fees.

Directions to the location will be given after you register. Please arrive on-time as we will be on the water promptly 30 minutes from the start time. We will not wait for tardy attendees.

Cancelations can be made up to 1 day before the program date for a $22 refund. Cancelations made the same day are not refundable. Eventbrite fees are not refundable. No refunds on no-shows.
