Ahoy! Calling all river rats, wingnuts, adventurers, makers, paddlers, and pirates! We invite you to come and join the Kawsmouth River Carnival & Healthy Rivers Partnership out on the Missouri River, on June 8th, 2024!
The River Carnival is playful Mardi-gras style art boat parade, where anyone can come be apart of the celebration, on the Missouri River! On event day, bring out your finest decorated boat and join the parade! The more fun, the better! We ensure this will be one of the greatest spectacles on the Missouri River this year! The parade will go from Kaw Point Park boat ramp to Riverfront park boat ramp. Prizes for best dressed boat!
If you prefer to just spectate- follow the parade on your bicycle on the adjacent riverfront trail.
EVENT DETAILS:
FREE to participate, 3pm-5pm meet at Kaw Point Park Boat Ramp (39.116032, -94.612142) to assemble final decoration and launch your boat. Once all participants festival boats are set in the water, we will float to Riverfront Park Boat Ramp (39.137240, -94.542089) to exit the river.
