Karitos has become one of the most unique conferences in the country for those who not only want to know what God is doing in the arts, but want to be part of it. While there are a number of conferences designed specifically for musicians, or for dancers, writers, visual artists or those in film and theatre, there are very few that bring all of these disciplines together.
Today, Karitos encompasses all aspects of movement arts from ballet to hip-hop, from praise dance to prophetic. Reflecting its growth worldwide, worship at Karitos has grown in both its importance and its presence. Churches can send worship leaders and praise teams, confident that they will grow in both their technical and spiritual ability. Worship leaders will find rich resources for leadership and technical training, spiritual insights, and encouragement.
Workshops in acting, directing, script writing and more inspire excellence in those in theatre. Writers and visual artists, too, benefit from sitting under anointed professionals. Even before the recent explosion of faith-based films, Karitos was offering film workshops.
Last year we re-introduced a Music track. We've joined forces with Christian Songwriters & Musicians International (CSMI) to put together an exciting lineup of workshops for those interested in the business end of Christian music.
Not to be overlooked are our main speakers. Bob Sorge and Vivien Hibbert are Karitos favorites and always come to us with a "now" word from God. This year they will be addressing our theme of Jubilee, speaking powerfully on Freedom, Restoration, and Release.
At Karitos you will be equipped and challenged by solid workshops, powerful general sessions, exciting concerts and performances, extravagant worship celebrations, opportunities to showcase your ministry, plus times of networking and rich fellowship. Don't miss it!
If you are serious about your art, Karitos will take your art seriously.
