About this event

Get your photo taken in an incredible monochromatic Blue set created by photographer Karen Jerzyk! This is the start of many color sets- make sure you don't miss out on any of the colors as the months follow!


Your 30 minute session includes:

-4 edited, hi-res images that will be emailed to you after your session (within 2 weeks).

-Options for props.

-If you have never had your picture taken in this sort of environment before, that's ok! I can give you direction.

-Set can only accommodate 2 people at a time- absolutely no more!

- Please do not lean on the set walls.

- Pet friendly!

- Photos will be delivered In hi-res format via email within one (1) week of the event date. Please download these photos to a safe spot.

-Proofs of the entire shoot are not available for these sessions.

- Please respect my studio and the items In It.This set is an art Installation, and I have a lot of items In my studio that I do not want broken. Please do not lean against the set walls or grab any props/items/etc without asking.

-Wardrobe is NOT provided in this session.

-Please be on time

Directions: My studio is located at 400 Bedford Street, Manchester, NH 03101. There is plenty of free parking in the immediate lot at my studio. The main entrance has a "Morgan Self Storage" sign above it, and is surrounded by vines. Go on that door and take the immediate stairs to your left up ONE flight (please contact me for other forms of access if you are unable to climb stairs). Enter the hall way and take a right. My studio is at the end of that hallway, Suites 328/329.Please be respectful to the building and other tenants- there are other businesses and artists that have studios/offices in the building. If you get stuck at any locked doors, please text me and I will come get you.

Karen Jerzyk

Karen Jerzyk is a surrealistic photographer who combines elements of sci-fi and fantasy with elaborate environments to create visual narratives. Whether she builds a set from scratch in her studio or finds an existing location, she always adorns the spaces with characters that are then brought to life through her lens. Striving for an element of what some people have said reminds them of an era of"future-past", her photos tend to appear timeless, with colorful montages laden with underlying themes. There is no right answer to the ultimate meaning of any one of her photos, as each viewer can read the scene differently. She wants it to be personal to each viewer, although she attributes most of her work to the unexpected death of her father in 2011 and the need to use art to heal. She currently travels around the US, photographing people for various projects.
