Net proceeds from Kappa Takeover will benefit youth mentoring, scholarship, and community service programs sponsored by the host Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. alumni chapters and affiliated foundations.

FRIDAY, JUNE 14
Kappa Takeover Presents: Tony Woods with the Kappas of Komedy!
MGM National Harbor - MGM Grand Ballroom
8 PM - 11 PM / Doors open at 7:45PM
We're getting the festivities started with a comedy show, hosted by Joe Clair, starring comedy legend Tony Woods, featuring Willie Lynch Jr. and Calvin Evans. Music by DJ Flava of 93.9 WKYS. Heavy hors d’oeuvres and cash bar beginning at 8PM. Each guest will receive one free drink. Attire: upscale casual.

MGM National Harbor - Potomac Plaza
6 PM - 11 PM
The main event, on the picturesque MGM National Harbor plaza overlooking the Potomac River. Music by Kappa Takeover favorite DJ Rod Madd Flava (6 - 8 PM) and DMV legend DJ Quicksilva (8 - 11 PM). A premium experience for all! Heavy hors d’oeuvres beginning at 7:30PM, cash bars, cigars, 360 photos, step and repeat photos, full access to the plaza dance floor, and full access to the MGM National Harbor public resort areas. Attire: all-white, summer casual chic.

Two Sets on the Ballroom Level of MGM National Harbor!!
The DMV Set by DJ Rod Madd Flava, at MGM Grand Ballroom. Old School, Baltimore Club, and GoGo.
The International Set in the MGM Bellagio Room (next to the grand ballroom) by Nupe and international DJ sensation DJ Spinrillo, just back from his Latin American tour. Afrobeats, Amapiano, Dancehall, Soca, and more! Heavy hors d'ouvres and cash bar.

Hotel reservations: ticket purchasers will be emailed a link to make discounted hotel reservations for the Hyatt Place National Harbor and the Westin National Harbor. There are a limited number of available rooms, so we encourage guests to purchase tickets and make reservations early. Reservations are subject to the terms, conditions, and policies of the respective hotels.
MGM National Harbor access: all guests will have access to the MGM National Harbor casino, restaurants, and common areas.
Parking: free parking will be available in the MGM National Harbor garage and overflow lot. Arrive early to secure your spot.
Seating: limited open (first-come, first-serve) seating at all venues, except in designated VIP areas.
Must be 21 or over to attend.
Events, activities, and entertainment are subject to change without notice.
No refunds or ticket upgrades.

Frequently asked questions
VIP guests will have exclusive access to Felt Lounge from 4 - 6 PM and the VIP seating area in Potomac Plaza from 4 PM - 2 AM. The VIP seating area on Potomac Plaza will have tables, chairs, dedicated bars, and dedicated food stations with enhanced menus.
Potomac Plaza has ledge seating around the fountain and limited seating with high boy tables on the Plaza. There is no reserved seating except for VIP.
MGM National Harbor has a garage and overflow lot with free parking. The National Harbor operates a circulator with several stops throughout the National Harbor. Both Lyft and Uber operate in the National Harbor.
There are ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS OR TICKET UPGRADES for this event under any circumstances.
Ladies are free to bring a small purse or clutch, which may be subject to search. Backpacks, coolers, outside beverages, bottles, or containers ARE NOT permitted on the premises of any of the venues hosting a Kappa Takeover event. Guests will not be admitted with any of these prohibited items.
If there is inclement weather, The White Party will move from Potomac Plaza to the MGM National Harbor Grand Ballroom. VIP seating will be available in or near the ballroom.
