What is Kambo?

Kambo cleanse is a healing ritual that originated in South America. Kambo is a poisonous substance secreted by the giant monkey frog. This creature is also known as the giant leaf frog. Phyllomedusa bicolor is its scientific name. The Amazon rainforest is home to the giant monkey frog. They are found in Brazil, Peru, and Venezuela. Many cultures revere giant monkey frogs for their healing powers.

The Kambo ceremony is designed to offer a safe environment for an uncomfortable experience while taking the discomfort into account. People who take part in Kambo are aware of what is coming. Preparation before Kambo Ceremony

How is Kambo Administered?

The modern neoshamanic Kambo ritual's ultimate goal is to achieve 'healing' and 'cleansing' of the body, emotions, and spirit. In general, a Kambo ritual begins with drinking approximately 1 liter of water or cassava soup, followed by the therapist or Kambo practitioner creating a number of small burns with a glowing timber, typically 3-5, traditionally at the ankle or upper arm.
