FROM THE PRACTITIONER:
My name is Karen Ortiz and I will be offering Kambo services on Saturday MARCH 25th, for anyone wanting to connect with the spirit of the frog.
Kambo is a medicine that is secreted from the belly of the phylomedusa bicolor frog that comes from the Amazon. The Kambo medicine is to help release any toxins we may have in the body whether it’s physical, mental or spiritual. It is the perfect pair with any kind of medicine you decide to try as it cleanses the digestive and lymphatic system and deeply penetrates and harmonizes the liver and other organs.
I have been working with the medicine for 6 years and have been serving Kambo as a practitioner for the past 4 years studying under Claudia Costa. I have also taught in a few Kambo training sessions on how to apply kambo dots to acupuncture points for specific illnesses or issues people may have. I also have a medical background as a respiratory therapist and a certification in CPR for both adults and children. I am a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist and have been practicing for over 17 years.
