Welcome to Kaleidoscope's Gender-Expansive Ballroom Dance class with Holly Shapiro! This offering is a part of a week long celebration of queer visions and futures at the Boston Center for Figuratice Arts, sponsored by the Somerville Arts Council funding.

Come join us for an intro level American Foxtrot lesson with a gender–expansive approach, followed by an open social dance featuring a variety of dance styles.

All levels welcome and encouraged to join.

This workshop is free; any donation tickets will go directly to the class instructor!

Will there be Covid precautions?

Yes! Masks are required. People who are denied access to health care and bodily safety (such as QTBIPOC folks) are at higher risk of debilitating ill health outcomes such as long covid. So we wear masks to love each other as best we can, and invite you to join us!!

I am not a dancer - can I come?

Please! This workshop is designed for beginners (with plenty of room for more practiced dancers to enjoy, too!) and we would love to have you. This is a silly, fun, judgement free space.
