KACIE ROSE - You Deserve Good Gelato at Literati!

Join renowned travel content creator Kacie Rose in her homestate of Michigan at Literati Bookstore on May 31st to celebrate the release of her debut book, You Deserve Good Gelato: Reasons to travel the world, embrace failure, and do the sh*t that scares you.

In her inimitably funny and feel-good way, social media star Kacie Rose offers a refreshingly honest take on navigating a new life abroad in You Deserve Good Gelato, covering everything from travel fails and homesickness to the joy of culture shocks and the power of doing the s*** that scares you. Because life is too short not to.

Kacie decided to leave her life as a pro dancer in New York City and move to Italy in 2021 - and she never looked back. Okay, that isn't strictly true...

In You Deserve Good Gelato, Kacie reflects on the pure terror of driving on Italian roads, the trials of speaking a new language, and the genuine beauty of a slower pace of life, all with humor and heart. By sharing her personal stories of life under the Tuscan sun, Kacie explains how travel is a privilege, why cultural differences are the coolest things in the world, and how there's a positive you can take away from literally any situation. Travel meets narrative in this bookthat confirms the belief everyone deserves a taste of the good gelato that life has to offer.

Event details
The event will begin at 6:30pm. Kacie will sit down to share her journey and insights with guests and then open the floor to a Q&A, before signing copies of her book.

*Please note - the main room in the venue has a capacity of 75 people, 50 of which are seated with the remainder standing. If you would like a seated chair, please make sure to arrive early!*

While the main room capacity is 75 people, Literati Bookstore has an overflow section available on the lower level where those that have not RSVP'd but would still like to hear Kacie speak and have their book signed can listen in. Entry to the event is free to attend, but as space is limited in the main room, RSVP is strongly encouraged.

Please note. If the ticket holder does not attend the event to collect their signed copy, and does not contact the host to make arrangements to get their book, the ticket holder will forfeit the copy if not claimed in two weeks. If the book needs to be shipped to them or held for longer than two weeks, they can contact Kacie Rose at hello@kacierosetravel.com
