Mission and Overland Park Veterinary Emergency & Specialty are thrilled to present the K9 First Responder Training Course. This course is designed to provide crucial emergency medical care for our four-legged heroes, the Police K9s. This inaugural event will equip first responders and K9 officers with essential skills and knowledge to administer life-saving care to police K9s injured in the line of duty. The K9 First Responder Training Course is a comprehensive 3-hour course designed specifically for first responders and K9 officers. Participants will receive hands-on training and instruction on emergency medical procedures tailored to police K9s.

This course comprises a two-hour lecture and a one-hour practical training session using two synthetic K9s. All canines receive free eye, heart, and blood screenings from MVES + OPVES veterinary specialists. All first responders will leave with a complimentary K9 First Aid kit.

Breakfast and Lunch will be provided to all attendees.
