The Pinkney foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to serve underprivileged urban youth by providing them with various youth development programs and projects that will assist in developing essential Life Skills in various areas such as Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurship, Education, Arts & Humanities, and Recreation.

East Bay Center for the Performing Arts

On Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 12:30pm-3:00pm we will showcase our students music production and talent from our summer RAAP program at the East Bay Center for the Performing Arts in Richmond,CA. Our students wrote the songs, composed the music, recorded and mixed their parts.The Pinkney Foundation in partnership with the City of Richmond ECIA Grant and K-Lou Recording Studios offers the Richmond Academy of Positive Productions (RAPP) program. The primary goal of RAPP is to instill positive non-violent thoughts, development of positive self expression as well as positive verbal and written communication skills for young adults ages 14-21.Special thanks to K-Lou from K-Lou Studios, Shané and the ECIA Grant team from the City of Richmond, Brian for the video, Anthony from Keetone Productions and Jordan and his team at the East Bay Center for the Performing Arts for hosting this event!
