Welcome to the James Wimberly Institute Barrier Breaker Ceremony!

Join us at the Anderson Conference Center to celebrate the accomplishments of the first African Americans to break a racial glass ceiling! In our 25th year and we seek to honor and catalog the success of contemporary African Americans in Macon Bibb County and Georgia. “Barrier Breakers,” give hope to our youth and communities. This ceremony will feature guest speakers, and recognize of those who have paved the way. Come be a part of this special occasion as we dine and toast to these titans of Middle Georgia.
