About this event
JUSTmove for Churches: Tools for Interculturality and Anti Racism
WHAT IS IT?
A cohort-based learning program designed to equip leaders (laypeople and clergy) with tools and resources to help them build bridges across cultural differences and faithfully move forward toward God's promised future of justice.
WHAT WILL WE BE DOING?
- Asynchronous Learning Modules: These entertaining sessions weave together creative pedagogical experiences that can be viewed on your own time. Covering culture, power, and race, among other topics, these sessions provide the tools and resources needed to model a Gospel-centered Welcome for all.
- Synchronous Group Coaching: These large group sessions provide opportunities for you to engage in action and reflection praxis with other co-learners and experienced guides.
- A Community of Practice: These conversation partners accompany you on your journey, reflecting on how to catalyze important change in your context. A helpful resource for your ongoing learning, these companions on the journey provide a “real time” sounding board for your own reflection.
- Learning Resources: These curated materials provide hours of material to deepen your exploration of these topics, as you are able. The printable resources give you conversation prompts and homework assignments to reinforce the learning of the course.
