At Stop 1, you will find a beautiful backyard koi pond that our team rebuilt in 2019. This pond includes stepping stones and an intake bay.

Stop 2: 1318 SW 3rd St, Ankeny, IA 50023


Stop 2 visits the home of a Master Gardener who's pond adds to the beauty of their landscaped yard. After a rebuilt stream in 2023, this feature catches the eye of all who walk the sidewalk nearby.

Stop 3: 2031 SW College Ave, Ankeny, IA 50023


Stop 3 offers a front yard pondless waterfall. Utilizing large weathered limestone and a crossing, this is curb appeal at it's finest.

Stop 5 is Pond Central and our last stop on the tour. Featuring a large recreational swim pond, this shows that your imagination is the limit when it comes to water features.

Every year, Just Add Water hosts a few Pond Tours where you and your friends, family, neighbors, etc can drive to multiple locations to see how our clients utilize and enjoy water features in their space. From small waterfalls to large recreational swim ponds, you will see a good mix of multiple water features to gain inspiration from.


The June 2024 Pond Tour will take place on June 15th from 9AM-1PM across the Ankeny area.


Our last stop, known as Pond Central, will give you the opportunity to talk with our Owner and Operations Manager about any specifc questions you have, mingle with other attendees and grab some food.

Does it cost money?

This Pond Tour is completely free. Show up and enjoy a day filled with water features and free lunch at the last stop.

When should I be at each stop?

This is a self-guided tour. You can travel to each stop any time between 9AM and 1PM. There will be plenty of space to park at each stop and signs to lead you to the correct locations.

If I have questions about a specific water feature, who should I ask?

We will have team members stationed at each water feature to answer and questions you may have (you may even find the homeowners stationed there too!). You can ask our Owner and Operations Manager questions at Pond Central as well.

Can I bring my kids?

Absolutely! Bring the whole family along to enjoy these water features. The kids will love seeing the fish as well!
