Where some call us to leave the junk behind, junk therapy calls us to reach deep into the rotting filth and pull out the good shit. Junk Therapy is founded on the conviction that form does not matter so much as function. It is not what you do as therapy but how you do it and to what end. Contained within the term ‘Junk Therapy’ is the whole path. To junk therapy means to throw it away whereas to perform Junk Therapy means to make therapy out of junk. Session 0: Calling all Therapy JunkiesSession 0 of Junk Therapy will be a soft open. We will discuss what Junk Therapy is and isn’t, why things are moving in this direction, and what will change. This session will also act as a preview of what’s to come in the Spring season. Maybe we’ll establish some group norms or name our cabal (Junkies?).
