Junior Volunteers Summer Camp (session 3)

No, the camp operates from Monday to Thursday. There are no camp sessions on Fridays.

Children will engage in various activities, including animal care sessions, educational presentations, hands-on animal interactions depending on our current animal population, arts and crafts, and outdoor games.

Safety is our top priority. We have strict protocols in place to ensure the safety of campers and animals, including hand-washing stations, guidelines for interacting with animals, and trained staff supervision.

Animal interactions are based on the current population of shelter animals at the program's time.

Absolutely. Our camp staff are experienced professionals who have undergone background checks and training in both child supervision and animal care.

Campers are required to wear long pants and close-toed shoes.

We recommend sending your child with a water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, and a packed snack. All items should be labeled with your child's name. Additional details will be provided upon registration.

Yes, please refrain from packing any nuts or nut butter for your children.

Each day, a parent or guardian (identified on the authorization for student pick-up sheet) must sign the camper in and out with the designated staff/volunteer member.

Yes, your child can be enrolled in both sessions. However, they will engage in a similar curriculum during both sessions. For parents/ guardians interested in both AM and PM sessions, we offer child supervision from 11:30-12:30 at $100 per week for 4 days per child.

A refund of 100% will be issued up to 14 days prior to the scheduled event. A refund of 50% will be issued between days 7 and 13 prior to an event. No refunds will be issued within 7 days. Event days can be transferred upon request (subject to availability).
