Alba is a cooking instructor and personal chef specializing in southern Italian and Mediterranean cuisine in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Her recipes are rustic, simple and vibrant in taste.
Our summer cooking camp for teens offers an immersive, hands-on experience tailored for young culinary enthusiasts. Led by a skilled Chef instructor, each session is carefully crafted to provide step-by-step guidance, ensuring kids receive personalized attention as they delve into various culinary themes. From mastering cooking techniques to fostering teamwork and unleashing creativity, our camp curriculum covers it all. With a focus on safety in the kitchen and plenty of opportunities for tasting their delicious creations, your aspiring chefs are sure to relish the chance to expand their culinary horizons and savor the fruits of their labor!
Our themes for the week include: “Breakfast/Brunch Day”, “Pizza Day” featuring Pizza, Stromboli’s & Calzones, “International Build a Bowl Day”, including buddha bowls and dessert bowls, “Ole! Mexican Day” and on Friday a Culinary Competition.
Cost: $495. Register online. Registration fees may apply.

(Prerequisite: must already have experience with knife skills and some cooking knowledge, or have attended a class/camp)

NOTE: FOR THEIR SAFETY, STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR LONG PANTS AND CLOSED-TOE SHOES. LONG HAIR MUST BE TIED BACK AT ALL TIMES.
