Take part in the first Junior Beekeeper program at DeKalb County Department of Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Affairs. Led by experienced Metro Atlanta Beekeepers Association members, we're looking forward to a fun day of learning about bees!

The event will be held on Saturday, June 08, 2024, from 10 am to 2 pm.

Cost is $45.00 per child

Ages 6 - 13 years old.

Children under the age of 9 must have a parent or guardian present at all times. Parents/guardians of older children are welcome to stay if they'd like.

The site will have a restroom and port-a-potty. Children should wear closed-toe shoes, bring their lunch, and drink plenty. Metro Atlanta Beekeepers Association members will supervise all activities, and provide protective clothing (bee suits, gloves, and veils) will be provided.
