This year, Juneteenth: In Our Words returns on Wednesday, June 19th at 8pm, hosted and curated by 2023 BRIC Brooklyn Grand Slam winner Jasmine "JRose" Rosario. JRose brings her charismatic poetic energy to paint a tapestry of words, while artist extraordinaire Shenna Vaughn creates visuals on canvas with live painting. Punctuating the evening is NY's hottest female mobile DJ Tam Jams, vibing with the musical forms of language and expression.
