Mufuka African Dance Studio presents, "Tribe". In celebration of Juneteenth, we will take a closer look at the power of "Tribe" through African dance and drumming performances. The performances will be highlighted by Afro Russe dances ( Zimbabwean Dance Fusion) featuring professional and youth dancers/drummers. 

Friday, June 18 at 7:00PM (Virtual Play)
The Fannie Lou Hamer Story, a multi-award winning, one woman play, written and performed by, Mzuri Moyo Aimbaye. The Fannie Lou Hamer Story chronicles the life and legacy of Civil Rights icon Ms. Fannie Lou Hamer through the compelling integration of poetic storytelling and nostalgic songs. Following the virtual play, there will be a live virtual panel discussion with Ms. Aimbaye and local community members to further highlight the importance of Juneteenth.
