Did you know that the Statue of Liberty was created to celebrate freed slaves? Both Lady Liberty and Juneteenth contribute to the nation’s narrative of liberty, justice, and the ongoing pursuit of a more inclusive society.


Dive into the rich history of Juneteenth through engaging and age-appropriate workshops. Children will have the opportunity to explore the significance of this important day through art, crafts, and storytelling with Ms. Chloe Jones, MA and Sharon McLaurin.
