WE'RE DOING IT AGAIN! Our third annual JUNETEENTH AFTERWORK KICKBACK is happening Tuesday, June 19th at Von! Juneteenth is the day slaves in Texas finally received word that they were free years after "emancipation". It's the first African American holiday and our mission is to celebrate it every year. Existing while Black is a revolutionary act, as is any holiday celebrating our Blackness, our personhood, our dopeness. We're poppin' and we're celebrating. Music, chill, drinks = Freedom Day/Juneteenth/Black Joy
