ABOUT
St. HOPE is pleased to partner with Sutter Health & University of Pacific to present the 4th annual Juneteenth Block Party at 40 Acres on Saturday, June 15 from 4pm-9pm. Join us for FREE activities for the entire family.
The 40 Acres Art and Cultural Center in Oak Park is a cultural cornerstone in Sacramento and perfect location to celebrate the nationally celebrated Juneteenth holiday. Come on out as we shut down the streets around 40 Acres for a neighborhood block party!
Bring your own lawn chair to enjoy the full lineup of music, art and entertainment taking place on the main stage, or walk around to support local black owned street and food vendors, and take your kids to the designated kids zone for some fun interactive activities!
Headlining this year's event is the all-female R&B band from Los Angeles, California, Klymaxx, and more live music from saxifonist Sean Raiford and the Tina Turner Review.
Additional entertainment includes VI916 FAM Youth Dance, Studio T, Sacramento Kings mascot Slamson, Capoeira Angola, Brazilian Drumming, Gospel Choirs and praise teams, a special kids zone, health pop-ups, black-owned wine and beer garden, a domino and spade tournament, 102.5 Radio DJ's and more!
