June Lunch & Learn

The Johns Hopkins Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) is part of the national Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) consortium, which is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).  Established in 2007, the ICTR is one of more than 60 medical research institutions working together as a national consortium to improve the way biomedical research is conducted across the country.

The <A HREF="http://ictr.johnshopkins.edu/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Johns Hopkins Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR)</A> is sponsoring a lunch and learn lecture series to disseminate new methodologies related to clinical trials. The next lecture is Tuesday, June 13 from 11:30 a.m.- 1 p.m. in Room W3008 at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. Guest speaker, Miguel Hernan, MD, MPH, ScM, DrPH, Kolkotones Professor of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health, will discuss his research which is focused on methodology for casual inference, including comparative effectiveness of policy and clinical interventions.
