Our hike will start promptly at 6:35pm - our hike hosts will keep up the rear of the group. Be prepared to gather at the summit for group photos to share on social media!

Join the fun and hike with us for an exciting night hike for the Strawberry Full Moon! Our group will hike to Potato Chip Rock at Mount Woodson for stunning photos and views of San Diego, CA. The views from Mount Woodson are incredible and reward hikes with unique views of San Diego. Our Full Moon Hikes are fun for all ages and most hiking levels – plus our hikes are pet-approved! Our energetic group always has a memorable time filled with awe, laughter, and many photos. Register now and hike with us - we’ll provide the Glow Sticks!

• Open to make friends and network: Green

Price:

Donate what you feel is reasonable (the average donation is $5 per hiker).
PLEASE COME OUT even if a donation is not feasible at the time. We encourage all to come and enjoy a fun hiking event and meet new people.


Meeting Point and Parking:

We will meet at the Mount Woodson Trailhead off Highway 67 which is located at:
16310 CA-67, Ramona, CA 92065
*Note: There are NO BATHROOMS at this trailhead and a parking lot.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, please bring your furry friends! All pets must be leashed and have bags for pet waste.

Is the trail kid friendly?

Mount Woodson is a moderate/strenuous trail that is paved but steep. We will take our time up the trail to ensure our group stays close together. Kids are encouraged to come out and hang/hike with other kids and enjoy healthy outdoor fun.

Are there animals I have to worry about?

Great questions! No, with a group of our size, most nocturnal animals will be keeping their distance. Types of animals/insects we may encounter (not likely) will be: bats, owls, tarantulas, night snakes, and stink bugs (beetles).
