About this event

Local Portland companies Tempos Contemporary Circus, push/FOLD, and B. are joining together for the 4th year. Each company will create and contribute a unique piece to this three-part performance, blending together into one show featuring dance, acrobatics, and aerial into a vibrant new fusion of movement and expression. Concepts of connectivity will be explored by performers from all three companies, bringing both the signature style of each group and fresh interpretations.

B. presents: This may take a while...

This may take a while...is a brand new work featuring dancers Jessica Zoller, Rachel Belling and M'liss Stephenson. Grief comes in all forms. Grief, I say, sit down. I have tea. I have honey. This will take as long as it takes.

B. is a new movement-based project created by Brandy Guthery, shaped in 2021. Combining unusual ways to leave the ground and work with supported manipulation of the body.

push/FOLD presents: Moon

Inspired by the halo of light from a full moon reflecting in the lenses of our eyes, ‘Moon’ is athletic and gentle quartet, seamlessly interweaving elements of breakdance and floor work with contemporary partnering and movement. It is a reflective look at the symbolism of nature, cycle, and the emergence of self.

Tempos Contemporary Circus presents: Suds

Musings over mundane chores blends folding into flying, drying into dancing, and boredom into bubbles.

Tempos is a contemorary circus company formed in 2013. They are excited to be celebrating their 10th season together! Tempos combines acrobatics, dance and physical theatre to weave story into circus.
